PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To do away with troublesome adjustment for changing the thickness of lead alloy sheet 5 and to provide a manufacturing device of a battery grid which allows reduction of stock of the lead alloy sheets 5 in rolling process with a multi-stage rolling device 3 at preprocess by a front-end rolling device 8 rolling the lead alloy sheets 5 according to the kinds of lead acid batteries. SOLUTION: The manufacturing device is provided with a front-end rolling device 8 for rolling long lead alloy roll sheets 5 with an interval adjustment mechanism 8d to a predetermined adjustable thickness and a spreading device 4 for manufacturing mesh grids 1 by forming and developing slits on the lead alloy sheets 5 rolled with the front-end rolling device 8.
