PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diaphragm electrode device for electrodeposition coating with which the terminal and lead wire of a tubular electrode section are hardly disconnected. SOLUTION: This device is provided with an insulating pipe 3 for integrally holding a diaphragm 109 and a diaphragm supporting member 108 and an electrode fixing mechanism consisting of a thumb screw 12 is disposed at this insulating pipe 3. The tubular electrode section 110 is positioned and fixed to the center of the insulating pipe 3 by two positioning member 11 consisting of spacer members of a U shape in section and the thumb screw 12, by which the oscillation and movement of the tubular electrode section 110 are prevented. The movement, posture change and rotation of the tubular electrode section 110 are prohibited, as a result of which, the bending and twisting of the lead wire 118 for connecting an external DC power source and the terminal 115 of the tubular electrode section 110 are prevented and the disconnection of the lead wire 118 is eliminated.
