PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot-meltable fiber capable of excellently dispersing into a base material, for example, a molding base material, a fiber, pulp, soil and sand, chips of wood, charcoal, wheat bran or the like without forming a fiber aggregation, and giving a variety of adhered products with high strength by heat-treating. SOLUTION: The objective hot-meltable fiber has a fiber length of 0.5-2 mm, preferably with an aspect ratio of 20-300, the water content of <=10% and/or the crimp number of <=6/cm.
