According to the invention, a port group is respectively assigned to the control instances (J00-J11) of a concentrator device (DE) of a digital switching center (DVS), with regard to at least one portion of the SLM's (S1, S2), according to a distribution of subscriber ports of the SLM's to groups (SLA, SLB) of the same size. Each control instance (J00-J11) processes those subscriber connections, which run via ports of the group (SLA, SLB) assigned thereto. Compared to CP and GP processors, the control instances (J00-J11) simulate the operation of different concentrator devices (LD0,LD1) within the switching center system (DVS). |
