The invention relates to a microwave component comprising a base (1), in entrance surface (6) and a an exit surface (7), said base (1) comprising a ceramic material. Said ceramic material contains at least two different components, available as separate phases, which each have a perowskite structure that has silver in the A positions and niobium or tantalum in the B positions. The composition of component A and the composition of component B is selected in such a manner that the temperature coefficients of their dielectric constants TK epsilon A and TK epsilon B have different signs in a given temperature interval. Advantageously, the proportions of the mixture of component A/component B are selected to result in an as complete a compensation of TK epsilon A and TK epsilon B as possible according to Lichtenecker's law. The temperature gradient of TK epsilon A and TK epsilon B can be adjusted by the quantitative proportion of niobium to tantalum and by adding dopants.
