PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a humidifier in which a humidifying unit can be made compact and a water leakage can be prevented. SOLUTION: In the humidifier having the humidifying unit 2 having humidifying elements 7 and a water supply unit 3 having water supply parts for supplying city water to the humidifying elements 7 such as a solenoid valve 11, a pressure reducing valve 15 and a check valve 16, the humidifying unit 2 and the water supply unit 3 are respectively divided and these divided parts are connected together by connecting piping 8.
