PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply power so that in-vehicle equipment is not turned off and has to be initialized when the engine starts. SOLUTION: A power supply comprises a main power supply that supplies power to the in-vehicle equipment and an auxiliary power supply that supplies power to the in-vehicle equipment. This system is provided with a detecting portion that detects when the voltage of the main power supply falls below a specified reference, and a switch-over portion that switches the power source for supplying power to the in-vehicle equipment from the main power supply to the auxiliary power supply in response to the detection by the detecting portion. Alternatively, the power supply is provided with a first diode supplied with voltage from the main power supply and a second diode supplied with voltage from the auxiliary power supply. |
