PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling a drying operation in a bathroom heating and drying device in which an energy saving operation can be carried out when clothes are dried in the bathroom and a running cost can be restricted. SOLUTION: An initial setting time is set to 8:00 o'clock, for example, by a timer setting means in a remote controller 16 through selection of a drying operation. Cool air feeding operation (7 hours, for example) is carried out in which a ventilation fan 9 and a circulating fan 10 are turned on at first during this operation setting time. Then, a heat source machine 5 is turned on together with the ventilation fan 9 and the circulating fan 10 for a remaining time (1 hour, for example) and an operation for feeding hot air into the bathroom 2 and ventilating the bathroom.
