The flywheel has a torsion spring device between an input part (12) which is driven by the automobile engine and an output part (14) which is coupled to the drive transmission. The torsion spring device has at least 2 coil springs (26) contained within guide channels concentric to the rotation axis and compressed upon torque transfer between the input and output parts, with forced return to the initial position from the compressed position.
