A method and apparatus for providing a hermetically sealed electrical feedthrough for use with a metal battery case The apparatus includes a ceramic-metal feedthrough subassembly, a metal case o flow melt point material, and a clad metal case cover comprised of a first layer of high melt point material and a second layer of low melt point material.
