PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card reader which has superior stable card carrying performance and excellent maintainability, and can reduce the number of components and save the electric power consumption by solving conventional problems. SOLUTION: This card reader is equipped with an insertion slot 12 for a card, a conveyance path 13 for the card, a conveying means which moves the card 11 in the conveyance path 13, and a data recording and reproducing means which at least records or reproduces data to or from the card present in the conveyance path 13, and is equipped with a card stopper 40 which pushes the card 11 back to the insertion slot 12 at the end of the conveyance path 13. |
