PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transport or store a large amount of potable water on the sea by recycling PET bottles disused as waste. SOLUTION: The floating body device has a plurality of the PET bottles 3, a net 7 surrounding the whole of a plurality of the bottles 3 and buoyancy members 17 annexed to the net 7, the sealable bottles 3 disused as waste are used as a plurality of the bottles 3, the bottles 3 are filled with potable water and sealed hermetically, and potable water can be transported or stored. Vessels having various sizes may also be contained as a plurality of the bottles 3.
