Snap tab for fastening components together

A snap tab fastener connects first and second ventilation system components (12,14) together. The fastener includes a tongue (16) and groove assembly (28,30,32) a tab (52) and a loop (22). The tongue (16) and groove (32) have a bit of flexibility so that an air tight connection is maintained during minor separation of the two. The tab (52) engages the loop (22) to lock the two components together.
