<p>The bearing and drive system for a winding bar or mandrel for a web of material comprises a drive bearing (1) and a driven bearing, each consisting of a fixed body (10) in which a shaft (2) can slide. The end of the shaft is shaped to fit into the end of the bar or mandrel. The shaft of the drive bearing is set in rotation by a rotating sleeve (3) in which it can slide while still connected to it and rotating, while the shaft of the driven bearing rotates freely. Each fixed body is cylindrical and contains a chamber (11) in which a hydraulic piston (12) which is coaxial with the shaft can slide. and is shaped at the downstream end so that the shaft can be extracted.</p> |
