APPARATUS FOR STORING STACK OF IMPORT CONTAINER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the cargo handling efficiency and the reliability of a container yard. SOLUTION: Apparatus for storing a stack of import containers is erected in the container yard 10 and has therein a frame 1 for storing the import containers 13 as a stack consisting of a small number of steps. A truck rail is provided below and parallel to a crane rail and above a container stacking space and a conveying truck 4 which travels on the truck rail is provided. A container transferring crane 2 transfers the containers between a trailer 14 for moving the containers 13 in and out on the overhanging part of the frame at the end of a crane travel rail and the conveying truck 4, and a container loading crane 3 transfers the containers 13 between the truck 4 and a loading site. The transferring crane 2 and the loading crane 3 are provided with antennas 6 for reading wireless IC number tags 7 affixed to the containers 13 and a wireless IC document tag set at the trailer 14, etc.
