PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet-formed photosensitive material package wherein a machine size is not enlarged, assembling an edge protector can be done at a conventional man-hour cost, and a film can be output in an actual size and to provide a method and an apparatus for loading the package. SOLUTION: A laminate comprising a plurality of sheet-formed photosensitive materials for photo which are laminated is held by a U-shaped edge protector and packaged in a moistureproof and lightproof bag including a thermoplastic resin layer to provide the sheet-formed photosensitive material package. The package is designed to be loaded in a magazine for loading in a bright room to load a film by pulling out the moistureproof and lightproof bag in a direction orthogonal to a carrying direction of the material. In addition, a coefficient of dynamic friction of an internal surface against the stiffening paper frame of the bag and a coefficient of dynamic friction of an external surface against a bottom of the magazine of the bag are 0.3 or less.
