<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a yarn wound golf ball having a polyurethane cover excellent in cut resistance, which has a favorable hitting feeling like a balata covered ball, and at the same time, of which the carry is large, and of which the productivity is excellent. SOLUTION: The polyurethane cover being excellent in cut resistance is obtained by hardening a composition containing a tolylene diisocyanate based urethane prepolymer and dimethyl thiotoluene diamine. In addition, a center constituted of two layers, an internal layer core and an external layer core, of which the diameter is 25 to 35 mm, and a yarn rubber layer which covers the center are contained. In this case, the internal layer core has a diameter of 24 to 33 mm, and the JIS-A hardness is 5 to 50. The external layer core covers the internal layer core, and of which Shore D hardness is 10 to 60. Thus, this yarn wound golf ball which has an excellent ball hitting feeling and a large carry can be obtained.</p> |
