PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently manufacture a plane body of a high precision by efficiently straightening the plane body. SOLUTION: By comparing a plane suitable for straightening (hereunder, expressed as straitening objective plane) a plane section 1a or an outer peripheral part 1b, etc., of a base plate 1 with a reference plane, a strain quantity at a prescribed position of the base plate is deduced. Based on the strain value, dies for straightening are constituted of straightening pins 7 for respective base plates. Against the die for straightening, the base plate 1 is pressed by the pressing pin 8 with prescribed force, required plastic deformation is generated to a required section of the straightening objective plane. Straightening is conducted to a whole of the straightening objective plane all at once, a straightening work is completed in a fixed time regardless of a difference in an area of a plane section, a straightening position, and a straightening quantity of respective works.
