METHOD OF CONSTRUCTING WATER HARDLY PERMEABLE LAYER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of constructing a water hardly permeable layer, which is easily and rapidly constructed and exhibits a high seepage control performance. SOLUTION: The method is performed by spraying a water hardly permeable material 11 consisting of sand 3 and bentonite 4 on a slope 2. The spray proceeds from the upper side toward the lower side of the slope and the easy tamping is carried out on the sprayed material with the spray pressure. The use quantity of bentonite is preferably controlled to 50-300 kg per 1 m3 of water hardly permeable material. The rainfall countermeasure using a sheet after spraying is dispensed with by mixing a binder directly before the water hardly permeable material is spayed to improve the erosion resistance.
