PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the bending strength and charpy impact strength of a fiber reinforced cement board. SOLUTION: A layer, of which the reinforcing fiber content in the cross-sectional structure of a cement board is stepwise changed, is laminated. In manufacturing the fiber reinforced cement board by laminating cement boards by a papermaking process, when the reinforcing fiber contents of the respective layers are successively increased from the upper layer to the lower layer or the reinforcing fiber content of the center layer and that of the upper and rear surface layers are changed, the strength of the fiber reinforced cement board is increased as compared with a cement board comprising uniform layers same in the reinforcing fiber content.
