PURPOSE: A touch screen keyboard system is provided to make a user using a different language and character system use a computer and communication devices by selecting a familiar characters and a linguistic system according to the user's choice. CONSTITUTION: The touch screen system comprises a touch screen keyboard(305) consisting of a touch sensor(301) converting the coordinates information of the contact position to an input signal and a monitor(302) displaying the coordinates information such a familiar form as a character, a symbol, a number and a picture, and keyboard peripheral devices(304). The peripheral devices are all kinds of electronic computing programs and electrical and mechanical devices for checking, converting and transmitting the electrical signals of the touch sensor and displaying the elements arranged on a keyboard by converting to video signals. The system displays the elements arranged on a keyboard depending on a language and a linguistic system used when the touch screen keyboard is used.
