PURPOSE: A drugstore selection and prescription transfer system in the internet is provided to receive a prescription and the area from which the prescription is transmitted employing a terminal having a user interface installed in a hospital and to select an available pharmacy. CONSTITUTION: The system comprises a prescription reader(130) outputting video data by reading a prescription, a keyboard(142) having a selecting key and a scroll key and outputting the key value of a switched key, a control unit transmitting the video data to the exterior, outputting the video data to a display(141) and outputting selected data, and a man-machine interface(140) displaying the video data on the display, scrolling the screen of the display depending on the inputted key value and outputting the selected data with response to the input of the selected key value from the keyboard. The control unit outputs an area list to the display and lets a user select an area desired. The selected area is transmitted to the exterior. The control unit receives a list of available pharmacies in the area desired and outputs the list to the display.
