AUTOMATIC CONVERSION INTERNET TELEPHONE AND CALLING METHOD USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An automatic conversion Internet telephone is provided to convert to an Internet protocol conversion mode when making a call, and to automatically convert to a normal conversion mode when receiving a call, so that a user can easily make a conversion on the phone while making or receiving a call. CONSTITUTION: A connection signal generator(40) generates a DTMF signal corresponding to an Internet phone service connection signal by pressing a connection button. A ring detector(41) detects a ring signal and generates a ring detection signal and hook-on/-off detection signals. A splitter(42) receives a signal inputted through a UTP cable to filter the signal, and separates the signal into voice data and image data. A controller(43) receives the Internet phone service connection signal and the ring detection signal, and decides whether a user makes a call or receives a call through a telephone, then outputs a relay control signal. The controller(43) receives an IP address from an ISP(24) to enable the IP address to be a transmission enable signal. A relay driver(44) drives a relay according to the relay control signal to connect each connection terminal(38a,38b,38c) with the controller(43). A memory(45) stores IP addresses of the ISP(24), and stores programs for performing operations of the controller(43) as well as programs for performing Web browser functions. A displayer(46) outputs image data of advertising data of the controller(43). A speaker(47) outputs voice data of the advertising data to an exterior.
