PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to simplify the process for removing a metal layer of a cut area in a bridge having the cut area of gate/data short circuit lines. CONSTITUTION: Plural gate lines(102) and first/second gate short circuit lines(108,124) are formed. The first gate short circuit line connects the odd-th lines of the plural gate lines while the second line connects the even-th lines. Plural data lines(116) and first/second data short circuit lines(122,110) are formed on the gate lines. A pixel part(P) is defined by an area crossing the gate lines with the data lines. A TFT(Thin Film Transistor,S) is connected with the gate lines and the data lines. Each part electrically connecting the gate/data lines with the short circuit lines is bridges of the short circuit lines and gate/data pads. The Ti layer of a cut area in each bridge is oxidized into TiOx having the insulation characteristics of 0.1-2 mega-ohms through heat treatment of an LCD. Therefore, an additional process for removing the metal layer is not required.
