PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery and a battery manufacturing method enabling miniaturizing and thinning, improvement of reliability of electric connection, and cost reduction, by eliminating resistor welding work of electrode removing part. SOLUTION: This battery comprises a first case 30, a second case 32, a battery body 34 disposed between the first case 30 and the second case 32 and having the electrode removing parts 50 and 52, a substrate 36 disposed between the first case 30 and the second case 32, crimp terminals 42 and 44 provided for the substrate 36 for mechanically crimping and fixing the electrode removing parts 50 and 52, and an electric connection part 40 that is fixed the first case 30 and the second case 32, is electrically connected to the substrate 36 side, and is used for electrically connecting the battery body 34 to an external object of the first case 30 and the second case 32. |
