PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing type display device in which the functionality of a rotary cover is improved and the rotary cover is smoothly opened/closed. SOLUTION: The rotary cover 8 is separately made up of a 1st cover body 25 that is supported to a display housing case 5 in a rocking free way and a 2nd cover body 26 that is connected to the 1st cover body 25 in a rocking free way so as to absorb an orbit difference caused when a liquid crystal display device 6 and the rotary cover 8 are moved by the rotary cover 8 and the liquid crystal display device 6 and the rotary cover 8 can be connected via a shaft 30 without forming a sliding pair between them.
