PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone set that has a function of automatically transmitting incoming history information to report the presence of a received call. SOLUTION: A control section is provided with a mail function control section, an incoming history management section, and an automatic transmission function control section. The mail function control section controls generation, reception and transmission of mails. The incoming history management section manages a caller number, an incoming time and other prescribed information as incoming history information at the arrival of a call and stores the information to a memory. The automatic transmission function control section executes an automatic incoming history transmission function setting processing and an automatic incoming history transmission control processing. The automatic incoming history transmission function setting processing sets an automatic incoming history transmission condition. The automatic incoming history transmission control processing discriminates whether or not the incoming history information satisfies the automatic incoming history transmission condition and controls the mail function control section to conduct mail generation processing and mail transmission processing so as to meet the automatic incoming history transmission condition when the incoming history information satisfies the automatic incoming history transmission condition.
