PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a joint connector of which an assembly man-hour can be curtailed. SOLUTION: A retainer 40 has a conductive plate 50 made of a conductive metal plate pasted on it. Assembled at a proper locking position, the retainer 40 is locked to a terminal fitting 30, and the same time, the conductive plate 50 comes in contact with the terminal fitting 30 to have each terminal fitting conductively connected. With this, since the retainer 40 and the conductive plate 50 are integrated, they can be assembled to a housing 11 at a time, resulting in improved assembly work. Moreover, as compared with the conventional ones of which a retainer and a member corresponding to a conductive plate are separate, the number of parts is smaller and parts management is easier.
