<p>A measuring method for determining an optical characteristic value of a soft contact lens (TL) by determining a change in the pattern light of a photosensor (9) when a pattern plate (8) is arranged in the measurement light path of a measurement optical system (1) to allow the photosensor (9) to receive the measurement light of a masurement light source (5) via the pattern plate (8), and when the soft contact lens (TL) is arranged in the measurement light path. An optical characteristic of the soft contact lens for determinging an optical characteristic value is measured when the photosensing signal of the photosensor (9) is under a set value by arranging the wet soft contact lens (TL) in the measurement light path to allow the photosensor (9) to receive the scattering light of the measurement light scattering through the soft contact lens (TL), and to determine the scattering condition of the scattering light from a change in the photosensing signal.</p> |
