PURPOSE: A process of preparing a soft drink from the leaves and stems of Euonymus alatus (Thunb.) Sieb. is provided. Whereby, the drink has anticancer effects and excellent efficacy on the prevention of adult diseases. CONSTITUTION: Leaves and stems of Euonymus alatus (Thunb.) Sieb. are washed and dried in the shade. The dried leaves and stems are ground to a size of 0.1 to 0.4mm and roasted at 70 to 100deg.C for 10 to 15 min while agitating at a speed of about 15 to 20rpm. The roasted material is then heated at 100 to 150deg.C for about 1 to 2 hr.
