Disclosed is a portable information terminal case system having a removable information terminal and a wireless communication function that comprises a controller for controlling interface operations in order for the information terminal to transmit and receive data; an interface for interfacing the input and output data of the information terminal according to control signals of the controller; a modem for modulating and demodulating the data input and output via the interface so as to fit to wireless communication environments; and an antenna for converting output signals of the modem into wireless signals, transmitting them, converting wirelessly received signals into wire signals, and transmitting them to the modem. Therefore, when the information terminal is installed in the information terminal case system, the information terminal is automatically connected to the wireless modem of the case system without an additional cable, thereby enabling wireless data communication. |
