<p>A technique is provided to monitor analog input channels, set threshold values for the analog input channels and automatically transmit a data message over a message-based bus when a converted value corresponding to the analog input level crosses a threshold value. The threshold value is a configuration parameter that may be set to a default value and programmed via configuration messages transmitted over the message-based bus.</p> |
