The ceiling uses a ceiling panel (13) supported at its opposing longitudinal sides (18,23) via carrier rails (16,17) on opposite sides of the corridor. The ceiling panel has a carrier profile (14) which is hooked over the adjacent carrier rail attached to one longitudinal side and which is provided with an inwards directed lip (20) for preventing its release from the carrier rail when the ceiling panel is opened by releasing the opposite side.
