DATA LINE AND TELEPHONE LINE SHARING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR INTERCONNECTING DATA LINE AND TELEPHONE LINE USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A data line and telephone line sharing apparatus and a method for interconnecting a data line and telephone line using the same are provided to facilitate an interconnection construction and reduce a construction cost by commonly using a data line and a phone line provided to each room. CONSTITUTION: A telephone line(L2) and a data line(L4) are provided to each room. The telephone line(L2) and the data line(L4) are UTP cables having a standard of RJ-45. The telephone line(L2) is directly connected to a communication line sharing unit(20) and the data line(4) is divided by a hub(10). The divided cable lines(L6-L12) are connected to the communication line sharing unit(20), respectively. The communication line sharing unit(20) is connected to the data lines(L6-L12) and makes common lines(L14-L20). The common lines(L14-L20) are connected to common sockets(S31-S34) respectively installed in each room. A user can connect a telephone jack or a LAN card jack to the common socket for use.
