PURPOSE: A portable protective band for a knee joint is provided to help a user such as the old and the weak or a person working enable a user to adjust the temperature of the band at needs, and to minimize the limitation of action of the user wearing the band. CONSTITUTION: The portable protective band for a knee joint has a circular diamond form capable of covering the knee joint of a user only, thus it is possible to ensure the free action of the user. The portable protective band is provided with two heat generating devices of A-type for daytime and B-type for bedtime according to the index of temperature. The heat generating device contains a heat generating agent, and non-plasticizer mixed in the chemical agent at a desired rate to keep the calorific power of the heat generating agent at a regular speed. By virtue of the variety of the temperature according to the mixing rate of the heat generating agent and the non-plasticizer, the portable protective band is able to perform the chill prevention effect at a low temperature as well as the fomentation effect at a high temperature.
