PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head gasket for a multi-cylinder capable of reinforcing resistance of a seal means against bearing pressure provided between adjacent combustion chamber holes, improving a seal performance, preventing the occurrence of permanent set in fatigue and breakage of the seal means, and increasing the durability. SOLUTION: In the head gasket 1 for multi-cylinder having a plurality of cylinders, beads 3 are provided in peripheral fringe parts of respective holes 2 for cylinder bore by surrounding these holes 2 for cylinder bore to seal each bore of cylinders, and coating films 4 having the resistance against heat and compression property are formed in a section of mutually adjacent beads 3 between the holes 2 for cylinder bore.
