摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately set injection stop distance so as to ensure the continuity of combustion of fuel spray dividedly injected when divided injection intermittently injecting by dividing fuel in the vicinity of upper dead center of a compression process is adopted, and the actual compression ratio of an engine is changed. SOLUTION: Opening/closing timing of a suction valve 33 is controlled according to the operation state of the engine to change the actual compression ratio, and injection stop distance of divided injection is changed according to the change of the actual compression ratio. Practically, when the actual compression ratio is low, the injection stop distance is made long, and when the actual compression ratio is high, the injection stop distance is made short.
