PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rocker arm capable of largely reducing labor and cost required for boring work compared to conventional devices. SOLUTION: In this rocker arm 8 provided with a roller 9 freely rotatably provided on a roller pin 20 stretched between a pair of bracket parts 22 on the base end side to be pushed up on the base end side to be inclined by a cam 7 slidable to get in contact with the roller 9 to rotate with its slide contact surface rolling downward through the roller 9, an oil passage 24 is bored to introduce lubricating oil 18 from an oil passage 15 at an axial center part of a rocker shaft 10 to flow out to a position between both bracket parts 22 facing an outer circumferential surface of the roller 9, and a recessed part 26 is provided in an upper surface part close to the base end side of the rocker arm 8 to introduce the lubricating oil 18 flowing out of the oil passage 24 by rotation of the roller 9 to form an oil reservoir 25.
