PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate fin type of heat exchanger excellent in mass productivity which can materialize high heat exchange efficiency and high durability under heavy fluctuation of heat load, though it is required in a plate fin type of heat exchanger for regeneration or the like in a micro-gas-turbine-generator, and with which the series arrangement of a heat exchanger for recovering exhaust heat separately downstream of a regenerator is possible. SOLUTION: The fins within a passage on high temperature side are made independent separately for each passage on low temperature side without brazing them at large, and mall spacer bars are arranged in places not provided with fins, thus elements for core assembly are manufactured, and these elements are stacked by, for example, seal-welding the fellow spacer members, and a tubular duct for hot fluid itself is extended as a container for a heat exchanger, and the above plate fin type of heat exchangers or tube type of heat exchangers, etc., being each separate things are arranged upstream and downstream of hot fluid, and the upstream side is made to function as a regenerator in a micro- gas-turbine-generator, and the downstream side is made to function as a steam and/or hot water generator, and exhaust heat is recovered.
