Machine tool is provided with device for automatic control of dimensions made of toroidal disk measuring tips mounted inside the housing with guidings for pair number of measuring carriages provided with contact surfaces and reading devices of linear displacements between measuring members with tips and stop tips interposed between contact surfaces of measuring carriages.
