PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To much more widen application and utilization by using new characters (0-9, A-F) easily identifiable even by the sense of sight, and its identification code system, capable of conducting numerical design by a simple theory to POS, EDI, FA, OA, ISBN or the like used as a present bar code symbol. SOLUTION: 1. The inside of a rectangle is divided into four, and weights of 1, 3, 5, 7 are given to the divided sections. The inside of the rectangle is colored to form a pattern, and the sum of the weights in the colored pattern or the colored part is read out to form 16 characters of 0-9 and A-F (first characters). 2. By combining two characters (the first character), CODE-256 containing an ASCII code revised table is expressed. 3. An easily identifiable pattern among many patterns coloring the inside of the rectangle is substitutively expressed as a second character, application identifier. 4. Two characters (the first character) are joined with a joining sign to make reading easy. |
