PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely lubricate a reverse shaft of a transmission by supplying an enough quantity of oil to the reverse shaft in a simple structure. SOLUTION: Reverse gears 39 and 40 are rotatably supported on the outer peripheral surface of the reverse shaft Sr provided in the interior of the transmission. The end face of a trough-like oil groove 13c downward tiltingly formed in the inner wall surface of a transmission case 13 is faced on an inlet opening of a hollow part 61 of the reverse shaft Sr, and oil adhering to the inner wall surface is introduced into the hollow part 61 of the reverse shaft Sr through the oil groove 13c, thereby lubricating the reverse gears 39 and 40 supported on the outer peripheral surface of the reverse shaft Sr. A special oil passage for supplying oil to the hollow part 61 from the oil pump to the reverse shaft Sr is not needed, thus simplifying the structure and reducing the cost. |
