A device for catching dust and debris during drilling of a hole in a wall comprises a pocket 26 having a notch 41 in the upper edge of its rear wall 28 and a member 40 adhered to the front face 29 of the rear wall 28 so as to partially cover the notch. The member 40 also has adhesive covered by a release sheet 42, removal of which enables the device to be adhered to the wall to be drilled. The rear face of the member 40 thus has two areas of low-tack adhesive, the outer of which forms a permanent bond with the surface 29 once it has been held there for one or more days, but the inner being releasable from the wall if held there for a relatively short time. The pocket 26 of upwardly tapering shape is formed by folding a blank and adhering gusset panels 14, 20 to the rear wall 28.
