PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of efficiently installing plural programs. SOLUTION: The image forming device having a control part divided into an image processing control/system control part 24 and an engine control part 25 respectively provided with 1st and 2nd CPUs 10, 18, 1st and 2nd flash ROMs 8, 21 for storing control programs for respective CPUs 10, 18, 1st and 2nd card slots 16, 23 for attaching memory cards storing respective programs, and programs for installing program data stored in an external storage medium in respective ROMs 8, 21 is provided with a means for installing plural programs stored in individual memory cards or the same memory card in the flash memories 8, 21 in parallel with each other. |
