PURPOSE: An air conditioner of cassette type embedded within ceiling is provided to allow the air conditioner to be easily installed and reduce cost by reducing the volume and weight of the air conditioner. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner comprises a cabinet(50) having an inlet port and one or more outlet ports formed at the bottom surface of the cabinet, and which is fixed to the ceiling; an air guide(56) installed between the inlet port and outlet port within the cabinet, and which allows air to pass over the air guide; a cross flow fan(54) installed at the inlet port side within the cabinet, and which allows indoor air to flow; a motor installed within the cabinet so as to drive the cross flow fan; and a heat exchanger(57) installed between the inlet port and outlet port of the cabinet, and which heats or cools the sucked indoor air. The cabinet has a drain groove(58) formed between outlet ports of the cabinet so as to collect and drain the condensate water falling from the heat exchanger. |
