PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interpretation processing method which performs interpretation almost in real time anywhere over the world instead of a user and easily evade trouble between languages in a conversation by using a portable information terminal device such as a portable telephone set and a hand-held computer with a communication function. SOLUTION: The interpretation processing method is composed of an input control means which urges an input person who operates a portable information terminal device such as a portable telephone set and a hand-held computer connected through a computer network to select and input input person information on a destination language of interpretation, the location of the input person, etc., when at least two persons having different mother tongues converse with each other, a translation processing means which recognizes the input person information inputted by the input control means and translates into information that the input person desires or specific language information, and an output control means which outputs the language information having been translated by the translation processing means to the portable information terminal device so that it can be interpreted to the opposite person. |
