PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymerization toner with which a toner image showing excellent light-transmitting property can be formed when the image is printed on an OHP film. SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic toner prepared by the suspension polymerization of polymerizable monomers in the presence of at least a coloring agent and polyester, the toner has a charge controlling agent fixed near the surface of the toner and further has <=15% tetrahydrofuran insoluble content.
