PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat treatment device which is space-saving and is low in facility cost due to its compactness, and reduces heat energy loss thoroughly and materializes the full automatization of driving and reduces the running cost. SOLUTION: This provides a heat treatment device 1 which uses rotary heat treatment furnaces or a rotary heat treatment furnace, where a work piece it rotates in a fluidized bed 13 and is heat-treated, as a solution treatment furnace 2 and/or an aging treatment furnace 3, and also recovers the waste heat that the exhaust gas bears by means of a heat exchanger 7 after removing dust from the exhaust gas of the solution treatment furnace 2 by heat-resistant dust collector 6, and enables it to be utilized as a heat source of the aging treatment furnace 3, and further is equipped with an automatic carrier 8 which carries a work piece 11 into and out of each furnace.
