PURPOSE: To detect a total load of loads imposed on respective ropes by a means not requiring explosion protection and waterproofing when hoisting one cargo with a plurality of hoists. CONSTITUTION: Load detecting hydraulic cylinders 21 are respectively added to hoists 2, and each hoist 2 is provided with one load adder 27 operated by oil pressure generated by the load detecting hydraulic cylinder 21 and a sensor 38 operated by the adder 27 to transmit a signal. A portion receiving rotational reaction force of a speed reduction gear 4 of the hoist 2 is rotatable only in a rope feeding direction, the load detecting hydraulic cylinder 21 is operated by a torque of the rotational reaction force receiving portion in accordance with a load imposed upon the rope 13, and when the total load of respective ropes 13 exceeds a set value, the load adder 27 is operated by the oil pressure. |
