PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify the assembling operation and lighten load of a fastening casing tube 9 during the drilling operation in a drill chuck including a chuck member 1 connected to a drilling spindle, a plurality of griping jaws 5 having teeth meshing with a threaded ring 8, and the fastening casing tube 9 used for moving these gripping jaws 5. SOLUTION: The fastening casing tube 9 is fixed to a shield plate 85 connected to the chuck member 1 for transmitting spring action in the rear in the axial direction of the threaded ring 8, that is, on the drilling spindle side. An intermediate ring 18 serving as a guide for the fastening casing tube 9 is unrotatably connected to the threaded ring 8. |
